Marvel’s Avengers (and with free upgrade) also comes with PS5 and Xbox Series X

Square Enix has announced that Marvel's Avengers will be officially released (and with a free upgrade) for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. The title will be released with the release of the next-gen systems in the festive season of 2020, while PC versions, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia remain on the predetermined date, which is expected on September 4. Those who buy one of the current-gen versions will be able to upgrade to the corresponding next-gen at no extra cost, carrying the saves together. Square Enix has also confirmed the possibility of cross-play between the generations, meaning that PS4 players will be able to play alongside those on the PS5 and those on the Xbox One with those on the Xbox Series X.

We have already learned about the PS5 version for improved graphics, enhanced resolution and detail, improved textures and armor destruction and much more, as well as the use of DualSense haptics and spatial 3D Audio. Also, gamers will be able to choose between better graphics or higher frame rate. Information on PC, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia versions will be announced later. We will learn more about Marvel’s Avengers at the War Table live stream on Wednesday, June 24 at 18.00 Morocco time.
